This year’s T-SCORE Summer institute took place from May 31 to June 13. Over the course of the institute the teachers were visited by various people from the University of Kansas Medical Center faculty. The teachers also took a tour of the resources around Wyandotte County. For a couple of days, the teachers from Wichita joined the teachers from Kansas City where the returning teachers helped the new teachers. We held multiple panels for the teachers to learn from, create connections, and also gain inspiration for their units. This year’s teachers had great ideas and there were new subjects included such as Spanish and even art.

We look forward to following our T-SCORE teaching fellows as they implement their engaging units this upcoming school year.
